Web Tool Smackdown: Google Drive

Smackdown Presentation: Google Drive

For today's demonstration, I chose Google Drive as my Web Tool because it is an effective and multifunctional tool that helps both students and educators to organize, collaborate, and have instant access to critical documents. As a future 1st-grade teacher, I need a tool that allows me to maintain lesson plans, student projects, and class materials well organized and shareable. Google Drive allows me to save documents, collaborate with other educators in the moment, and keep an eye on student progress in one location. Its seamless integration with Google Docs, Slides, and Forms makes it ideal for creating interactive lessons, quizzes, and activities that are easy to organize and share.

Google Drive is also fantastic when it comes to managing lesson materials and collaborating with other instructors. I have the ability to create shareable folders containing lesson plans, activities, and exams so everyone has access and knows what the current version is. I'm also able to share documents with the students and parents to easily communicate. I have access to my materials anytime and anywhere since it is cloud storage. Google Drive is a fantastic tool to help me get well-organized and efficient both in my coursework and in my teaching career.

  13. i’ve use Google Drive throughout all of my school career. I really like how I’m able to save everything into one place and how I can access it on all my devices. I do find a problem with there being a limited amount of space as I have run into the problem of not having enough on an account. I can see how this can be very useful in work, especially when having to share documents.
